Homeowners at Kealanani have a self-determining right to embark
upon an agricultural activity of their own choosing.
They may choose to plant lychee, papaya, mango, guava or other
fruit trees. They may choose to grow vanilla, saffron, or specialty
greens for gourmet restaurants. They may engage in ranching or boarding
and breeding horses, depending upon the size and suitability of
their home sites.
The important, and legally required, point is that they engage
in some agricultural activity that contributes to the identity and
agricultural viability of Kealanani. The developer and Homeowners
Association will be able to assist owners with their individual
agricultural plans, if needed.
